More people have been killed with house hold items such as hammers, than by firearms. There are most likely 100 serial killers out on the street right now in just America hunting a victim. And the odds are 1 to 0 of them are going to use a firearm to kill there victim. They would rather beat your face in with a hammer or lead pipe. And by the way, the 9mm is designed for home defense, they are used for stopping someone not actually killing them. A .45 on the other hand, will rip a hole though someone. There is a difference.
